Scott enjoys the other side of graduation

A familiar face to thousands of graduating LJMU students enjoyed his own moment in the spotlight at Thursday’s graduation ceremonies.

Scott Sadowski from Campus Services crossed the stage to receive his Certificate of Higher Education in Business and Management Practice.

It was a different graduation experience for Scott who has worked at LJMU graduation ceremonies for seven years, ensuring our ceremonies run smoothly and that students and their guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Doing my diploma at LJMU has been a fantastic experience. It’s been long and it’s been hard but, today, receiving my certificate in front of my family makes it all worthwhile.

“I’ve worked at graduation ceremonies for seven or eight years now and enjoyed every one of them. I’m on the other side of it today.

“Doing my diploma at LJMU has been a fantastic experience. It’s been long and it’s been hard but, today, receiving my certificate in front of my family makes it all worthwhile. It’s been a journey but it’s fantastic for me and my family.”

After celebrating with his family on Thursday, Scott will be back on graduation duties at the Sports Building on Friday. “I’ve seen behind the scenes and now I’ve been part of it as well and it’s fantastic.”
