Transformational change: structure and cost centre system updates
As part of the Transformational Change project, the university will be updating all of our systems to reflect the new organisational structure, and associated changes to cost centres as of Friday 1 August.
What’s changing
- System changes to reflect the Faculty and School organisational changes (see detail below)
- Cost codes
- Staff alignment to the above
When changes are happening
- Changes will commence at 8am Friday 1 August
- Changes will be made through the 25 core systems, and will take some time to complete, currently expected by Friday 8 August
- During this period, 1 Aug to 8 Aug, systems should still be accessible, but there may be anomalies or inconsistencies
- An update will be provided and colleagues informed when the work is complete
What you need to do
- Carry on doing what you do – you should be able to still access and work with the systems you use during this period
- If you see any major issues in the systems you use, then please raise a ticket via the LJMU helpdesk under 'Faculty/School Re-Organisation Issue' (screen shots below).
For any other issues, please wait until after changes are complete - staff will be notified once changes are complete.
