The Diversity and Inclusion Team’s annual Diversity and Inclusion Calendar highlights cultural and heritage events from across the globe, offering opportunities to learn, reflect, and celebrate together.
Diversity and inclusion are fundamental to who we are as a university and how we work together as a community.
The calendar is intended as a practical planning tool to support inclusive practice across LJMU and colleagues are encouraged to use it alongside open conversations with students and staff and to display it proudly in your offices and shared working spaces.
The calendar also serves as a reminder that inclusion is a shared endeavour – shaped through everyday actions, allyship, and collective participation – and that we all have a role to play in fostering a culture of belonging across the university.
