Voluntary dental plan available for LJMU staff

As more people are considering a dental plan to manage the rising cost of dental treatment, LJMU has partnered with Unum Dental again for 2026. 

This voluntary scheme is a dental insurance policy that is considerably less expensive than an individual plan.

For further information about the scheme, levels of cover available, and to submit an application, visit the online Unum portal, enter the enrolment code 983784/2385 and some personal details when prompted.

Online applications close on Saturday 31 January 2026.

Please note:
You cannot change or cancel your membership during the period of cover as shown on your policy schedule, unless you leave Liverpool John Moores University or there is a change in your circumstances such as birth or adoption of a child, death of a member or dependant, marriage or divorce of the member, member entering a civil partnership or a dissolution of a member's civil partnership.
