Resource Booker system outage for technical updates

As we move from one academic year into the next, annual works to Resource Booker need to be carried out to connect it to the 2026/27 timetabling database.

To enable our ITS colleagues to undertake this technical work, Resource Booker will be offline from 4pm on Friday 24 July.

Further upgrades and changes will also be undertaken during this time, and the system will therefore be offline for most of the following week.

It is anticipated that Resource Booker will be back open by the end of Friday 7 August, but updates will be provided on the Resource Booker homepage (before you hit the login button).

If staff need to make an urgent last-minute booking for the period that Resource Booker is offline, you can email non-teachingroombookings@ljmu.ac.uk

There are also a number of meeting rooms bookable via Outlook while Resource Booker is unavailable.

Booking for 2026/27

Once Resource Booker is updated, it will be opening for the 2026/27 academic year on a phased basis.

Some templates, for non-teaching spaces such as library rooms, will be open for the whole year until 29 August 2027.

Bookings for teaching rooms will initially be open until 13 September, as work continues on the teaching timetable. The remainder of semester one bookings should become available by 1 October and semester two by the start of November.

If staff need to make an urgent booking for the period from 14 to 30 September, you can email non-teachingroombookings@ljmu.ac.uk, but please only do so if unavoidable.
