Pre-induction events for neurodivergent students starting in September 2026

Our neurodiversity pre-induction events are open to all students starting their studies at LJMU in September 2026 who identify as neurodivergent or who have a learning difference.

The events are designed as a friendly and inclusive way to explore campus, meet academic and support staff, and connect with other neurodivergent students before the busy start of the academic year.

In a relaxed and welcoming environment, you'll be able to familiarise yourself with key spaces, ask any questions you may have, and learn about the support available to help you thrive at university. They are free to attend, and you are welcome to bring a parent, sibling or other supporter with you should you wish.

Events for 2026 will run on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 1 September – Faculty of Society and Culture, based on the Mount Pleasant campus
  • Thursday 3 September – Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology and Science, based on the City Campus

Places are limited so please register your spot by completing the event sign-up form.

For more information or if you have any queries, please email the Diversity and Inclusion Team.
