The Executive Leadership Team has approved a new Admissions Interview Recording Policy.

The new policy has been introduced to provide a clear and consistent approach to recording admissions interviews conducted through Microsoft Teams.

Interview recordings will be stored securely and can be reviewed where needed to support appeals, complaints, safeguarding concerns, and quality assurance activity. 

The policy helps protect applicants, academic colleagues and the university by providing an accurate record of the interview. It also supports academics when concerns arise about the potential use of AI or other external assistance during interviews, ensuring decisions can be reviewed with confidence where required.
