Trustee roles available with charity partner Micah Liverpool
Micah truly values being one of LJMU’s charity partners and has benefitted from the interest, enthusiasm and academic input from a range of LJMU departments.
The charity currently has some vacancies on its Board of Trustees and would welcome applications from LJMU staff.
Micah requires its trustees to have a genuine interest in its aim to “assist people experiencing poverty or social injustice in the Liverpool City Region, particularly but not exclusively those from unrepresented and under-represented groups including asylum seekers and refugees”.
Micah’s current projects focus on food poverty, employment and child bed poverty (the latter is due to end in December 2026).
The current board would appreciate interest from anyone who has expertise in its project areas, or in the following areas:
- Business management and development
- Financial management and accounting
- Fundraising and/or marketing
- Charity law and governance
- Human resources
- Social policy
