Charles is an actuary, investment and risk management professional with over 20 years’ experience within hedge funds, asset management, derivatives and early stage investments. In addition to capital markets, he has maintained a passion for entrepreneurial environments which has led him to be involved in angel investing, business mentoring and incubation.
Charles also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute, the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) designation from the Society of Actuaries, and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Additionally, Charles holds a BSc. (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics from Edinburgh University and a Masters in International Banking, Economics and Finance from Liverpool John Moores University.
