Rights Retention

Rights Retention refers to you as the author retaining key rights to your work, rather than transferring these to the publisher.

Rights Retention supports Green Open Access (OA) by allowing author accepted manuscripts (AAMs) to be made immediately available, upon publication in the university’s institutional repository, LJMU Research Online.

Making research outputs OA raises the visibility and reusability of research and often ensures they comply with research funder policies.
