Policing
Are you up for the challenge?
Police forces and national crime agencies are operating in increasingly challenging times. Internal and external threats combined with the rapid growth of the internet present new opportunities for crime in many different arenas.
Our courses critically explore contemporary policing issues and prepare you for professional practice. You will learn technical, analytical and evaluative skills and will be able to carry out: computer crime investigations, drug spot tests, fingerprint analysis, crime scene investigation and DNA analysis. You will gather vital insights into the criminal mind, criminal justice system and British legal system; use the power of scientific analysis to resolve legal disputes and understand and develop key strategies for effective crime scene and security management.
