The Redmonds Building is just a ten-minute walk away from the nearest mainline station at Lime Street. Take the main exit of the station and turn left onto Lime Street. Then turn left again at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel and continue up Brownlow Hill towards the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral. The Redmonds Building is on your right before you reach the Cathedral.

The National Express Coach Station is located at Liverpool One Bus Station, Canning Place, Liverpool L1 8LB, in the heart of Liverpool's city centre.
From the exit, head through the city centre until you reach Hanover Street, turn left and keep walking toward the Adelphi Hotel. Brownlow Hill is the first road on the right side of the Adelphi Hotel, head up Bownlow Hill and the Redmonds Building will be on your right hand side when you reach the first set of traffic lights.

You can sail between Liverpool and Belfast, Liverpool and Dublin and between Liverpool and the Isle of Man. Locally, Mersey Ferries operate services between Pier Head and Birkenhead/Wallasey on the Wirral. Once in Liverpool, follow signs for the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral, or for Lime Street Station, then follow directions to the University from the station, as described above.
