What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?

Join the Environmental Sustainability and Energy Team at LJMU to watch a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing.

This 50-minute film brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts to share the latest climate evidence and why it matters in areas such as extreme weather, food security, health and the cost of living.

Based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) the film features appearances from Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden, as well as a wide range of voices from across the UK.

Following the film, we’ll host a discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

What do I need to bring? Nothing! Refreshments will be provided.

Who can attend? This event is open to all staff and students.
