"BDO has an expanding presence in Liverpool through the ongoing roll-out of a Shared Services model which supports a number of processes and teams throughout the UK. In order to sustain this growth we need to bring in capable, intelligent people who can complement the existing team and contribute to our future success. Offering high quality placement opportunities is an excellent way of accessing talented individuals who want to gain work experience in a large professional services environment.
"I attended the Liverpool Business School Placement Fair for the first time in 2016. A large number of students registered their details with us. Our 2017 cohort of 12 placement students based in the BDO Shared Service Centre includes seven who are at LJMU which demonstrates the value of this event. I am excited about the possibilities and growth potential we have for next year and beyond – offering placements and potentially re-hiring placement alumni is an important part of that journey."
