Make a difference for The Whitechapel Centre

For the last two years we have been involved in the Whitechapel Christmas Appeal and thanks to you all donating an amazing amount of gifts, you helped make Christmas special for The Whitechapel Centre clients. We are delighted to be supporting the initiative again and hope that you’re are all feeling as generous as in previous years.

If you're out Christmas shopping this evening, why not add a little gift to your basket and pop it in one of the donation boxes around campus. Donations are welcome of hair brushes, razors and electric shavers shampoo, shower gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving foam,small and medium men’s boxer shorts (new in original packaging), thin socks, gift bags, selection boxes, Christmas crackers and room decorations, new gifts/toys/stocking fillers for ages 0 -18 years, in particular, gifts for teenagers, male/female gift boxes/sets (such as Lynx, Dove etc.), notebooks, pens and stamps, small pocket radios, playing cards, Christmas foodstuffs (non-perishable and in date), mince pies, Christmas puddings, sundries, such as tinned custard, gravy granules, stuffing, condiments and sauces (cranberry, mint, apple).

Please note: donations should be new and in original packaging

The Whitechapel Centre is also looking for volunteers to join their team of Christmas Elves to sort donations coming into the Centre. You will need to attend a briefing session beforehand - full details and other ways you can help out can be found on the link here
