Are you ready for National Student Money Week?

During week commencing Monday 3 February 2020, LJMU will be taking part in National Student Money Week.

The theme for this year is 'Spend Healthy, Live Healthy: Sustainable Money' and throughout the week we will focus on reducing waste and saving money.

Our Student Advice and Wellbeing team will be active across campus to talk about money matters and offer advice on how to be a better spender, saver and consumer for our planet.

What are the key aims of the week?

  • raising awareness of the support that is available across the University
  • encouraging you to take control of your finances
  • a reminder about reapplying for your funding for each year of study - it is almost time to reapply for 2020!

We’ve also invested in an online digital learning environment that LJMU students can access free of charge, by registering with their LJMU email address.  Blackbullion, has a range of on line learning, boot camps and money saving tips aimed specifically at students.

You can also download some ideas of how to make their finances more sustainable and pick up some easy tips around every day items and habits they can change to become a healthier spender and saver here
