Paid internship opportunities for L5 and 6 students

Get some paid work experience at a local business working a real-life project that you can really get stuck into

If you are a current level 5 or 6 student (second or third year), we have a range of exciting, paid internship opportunities that will be opening for applications the week beginning 13 December with the roles due to start in February.

These are a great way to get some paid work experience at a local business/SME working a real-life project that you can really get stuck into.

The internships are available across a range of sectors and will help you gain invaluable workplace skills and experience, discover if this is the type of role you want to pursue after graduation, as well as earning some spending money.

Employers taking part in the internships include Liverpool John Lennon Airport, The Women’s Organisation, Writing on the Wall, Merseyside Police, Draw and Code, FACT, Liverpool FC Foundation, Active Profile and Professional Liverpool.  Job titles include digital marketing assistant, creative designer, web designer, exhibitions assistant, sport and wellbeing coach, data engineering lead, project manager, social media manager, policy and research lead, net zero NHS project support officer and junior trainee reporter.

You will be paid a living wage and you must be in the UK when completing the work.  The internships can be completed on a part-time basis.  Some are remote internships while others will require you to be present at a workplace, so check the terms and conditions before applying.

We have internships available across two different projects each with a different application process, but Level 5 and 6 students can apply as many internships as you want across the two projects.

Internships will be added on a rolling basis throughout the year so if you can’t find anything that appeals to you at first glance, don’t worry, more opportunities will become available.

If you are successful in securing more than one of the internships, you can decide which to accept, but you may only complete one internship per project.
