The university is this month introducing a brand new all-in-one platform to help you get the online support you need.
LJMU Assist is designed to make university life easier, whether you need IT help, library info or support from Academic Registry. Everything’s now in one place, so you can sort out problems and find answers without any hassle.
The platform goes live on Monday 17 November and replaces the old HelpMe system. This means you’ll have a fresh, modern way to get support on any digital device, with improved features that make accessing help straightforward and quick.

• Easy to use: The portal is designed with students in mind. Raise requests, check progress and get the info you need with just a few clicks.
• Help when you need it: Browse loads of articles to solve common issues yourself or get in touch for more complex problems.

LJ is available 24/7 on the LJMU Assist portal and the help pages, ready to answer questions and point you in the right direction.
If LJ can’t fix your problem, the assistant will connect you to a staff member during working hours or make sure your request goes to the right team.
Prefer to chat with a real person? Just let LJ know and you’ll be transferred to a human agent if one is online.
Right now, LJ knows everything from LJMU’s webpages and the LJMU Assist knowledge base. LJ is constantly learning, so you’ll always get the most up-to-date support.
