The Library
The Library sits at the heart of LJMU. Our library buildings and spaces provide a welcoming, comfortable and inclusive environment to support your study and research. In addition to our on-site facilities and extensive digital library services, the Library team offers guidance on developing your skills for study or research.

Summer opening hours
The Libraries are now open from 8.45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Mount Pleasant Campus Library is open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm during May and June. City Campus Library will open on Saturdays during July and August.
Both Libraries are closed on Sundays and on Bank Holiday Monday 25 May , though the Student Life Building is open 24/7.
