The Library
The Library sits at the heart of LJMU. Our library buildings and spaces provide a welcoming, comfortable and inclusive environment to support your study and research. In addition to our on-site facilities and extensive digital library services, the Library team offers guidance on developing your skills for study or research.
⚡ Library update
Summer opening hours. The Libraries are now open from 8.45am to 5pm Monday - Friday. Mount Pleasant Campus Library is open on Saturdays 10am-4pm during May and June. City Campus Library will open on Saturdays during July and August. Both Libraries are closed on Sundays. The Student Life Building will remain open 24/7. Daily opening hours are available at Library opening hours and locations.
