Research Topics within the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour

The research conducted at the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour covers the whole breath of psychology and related fields.

It advances the theoretical understanding of psychological processes and examines the biological, neurological, psychological, and social mechanisms underlying human thoughts, feelings, and behaviour. Much of our research has an applied focus. In collaboration with our stakeholders and communities, we develop new intervention approaches and programmes and investigate their effectiveness and efficacy for the improvement and preservation of mental and psychical health and wellbeing.

Our research is organised within ten research topics associated with four broader research themes: cognition, language, and education, forensic psychology, health and wellbeing, and neuroscience.
