Carbon Literacy Training - Jan 26
Improve your understanding on climate change and how you can take action
This event has already taken place.Dr Konstantina Skritsovali and Jennifer Stokoe are holding Carbon Literacy Training on Tuesday 13th January, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in Redmonds Building, room 430.
This interactive training aims to:
- Improve your understanding of climate change.
- Empower you to take action on climate issues.
- Highlight potential benefits for both you, personally and, for your academic/ professional practice.
It is a full day of training and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
We have secured funding for participants who wish to apply for a Carbon Literacy certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project. This offers a valuable opportunity to gain formal recognition for your commitment to sustainability.
We're particularly keen for those who are trained to start delivering training to other staff and students around the university too, so please do let us know if you would be keen to do this.
If you would like to attend, please register your attendance as soon as possible, as places are limited. The registration deadline is Wednesday 7th January.
