Updating Your Microsoft Profile Picture
From this month LJMU will begin publishing all student and staff security card photos into Microsoft’s 365 suite of products.
This month LJMU will begin publishing your student security card photos into Microsoft’s 365 suite of products.
Therefore, the image on your ID card will be automatically uploaded to the system and appear on all Microsoft platforms including Teams and Outlook.
This means students and staff will be able to easily identify each other within our LJMU community.
Using an alternative image
For those that would like to use an alternative image to the one on their security ID card, you can upload this manually.
IT Services has created these useful instructions on how to change your Microsoft profile picture here.
Please note that any image that has already been uploaded manually will not be overwritten.
We recommend uploading an image similar to a passport photo, although smiling is encouraged!
If you wish you can also choose to not display a photograph within the same link.
