First Step Spring Internships available for Level 4 students

A new pilot internship programme for first year students (level 4 only) with little to no previous work experience launched on Monday 15 January.

First Step Spring Internships are 70-hour paid internships that give level 4 students the opportunity to work on a suitable project or piece of work for an organisation in the Liverpool City Region.  The internships can be undertaken part-time alongside your studies, but must be completed within a 6-week period.  You will be paid a living wage for the internship.

The internships opened for applications on Monday 15 January and close at midnight on Sunday 4 February. There will be no interview process for these opportunities, the Student Futures team will undertake a matching process between participating organisations and students. The internships will begin on Monday 4 March (start dates may vary for each role).

First Step Spring Internships are currently advertised via Unitemps, LJMU's own recruitment agency. If you are a level 4 student who is already signed up for Unitemps, you can apply for a role now.  If not register on their website so you are eligible to apply for the internships. View Internships and apply.
