LJMU is a registered Data Controller with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number Z5616967.

LJMU takes your privacy very seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal data and informing you of your data rights.

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) provides advice and guidance to the University on data protection matters and reports directly to the Vice Chancellor and the Board of Governors on compliance with our GDPR obligations.

The Information Officer is the first point of contact for all Freedom of Information and Data Subject Rights Requests and assists the DPO.
