How our students contribute
The LJMU CEP Clinic is also a teaching clinic. This means postgraduate students from LJMU’s MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology programme are involved in delivering care as part of their professional training.
Students may take part in your appointments by leading parts of a consultation, helping with group sessions, or supporting your exercise programme during your 12-week health journey. This always happens under close supervision.
All student activity is overseen by qualified and registered Clinical Exercise Physiologists. This ensures your care is safe, professional, and of a high standard at all times.
Just like student doctors or nurses who train in hospitals, our students learn best through real world clinical experience. By choosing to take part, you are helping to train the next generation of skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals.
