Although the Reimagining Conflict: Pedagogy, Policy and Arts Group undertake a variety of research, all our projects aim to support veterans and address the lived experiences of conflict.
Project: Reimagine the Veteran
Taking the voices and experiences of veterans seriously
The Reimagine the Veteran project is the first theme the Reimagining Conflict: Pedagogy, Policy and Arts Group has undertaken collectively.
Under this banner, the Group take advantage of the latest technological tools for public awareness and engagement in order to recognise the complex problems veteran communities face in ways that do not marginalise them from the process.
Reimagine the Veteran is a call to take seriously the voices and lived experiences of veterans through the myriad of problems veterans face. The group is dedicated to multi-disciplinary forms of engagement and seeks to bring together academics, the arts, policy makers and advocates with veteran communities. It includes:
- Intellectual engagement
- Cultural engagement
- Policy engagement
