Mission

Empowering the voices of children and young people

The Children and Youth Research Group seeks to understand the experiences of children and young people and to empower their voices. The voices of children and young people are often left out of contemporary debates surrounding their own experiences and perceived ‘risky’ behaviour. Listening to children and young people’s voices about their experiences in contemporary society is of vital importance to fully understand their needs.
