Justice Policy and Practice Group (JPPG)
The Justice Policy and Practice Group will engage in research and knowledge exchange activities that will aim to achieve the following overarching aims, to:
- examine key issues related to the design, implementation, and delivery of criminal justice in ways that promote fairness, equity, and meaningful impact
- stimulate dialogue, we draw on the insights of experts by experience and employ co-production methods to cultivate communities of practice. These approaches help shape research agendas that challenge existing norms, generate knowledge, and introduce innovative ideas to the justice sector
- foster stronger connections between research and practice communities, this approach aims to enhance criminal justice professionals’ confidence in engaging with and applying research. It also supports the generation of new knowledge and the development of evidence-informed learning to enrich teaching and training curricula
