1. Academic Board vacancies call for nominations

   Formal nominations need to be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday 23 January 2024.

2. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

5. Aldham Robarts Library to reopen on Sundays from 7 January

   We’re pleased to share that the Aldham Robarts Library will resume its normal opening hours and will once again be open on Sundays from 7 January.

6. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

7. Health, safety and environmental management code of practice updates

   The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has recently approved a new health and safety code of practice as well as amendments to a further 11 policies.

8. Updated Research Degrees Framework 2024/25

   Updates have been made to various regulations and policies that underpin the university’s Research Degrees Framework.

9. New LJMU professors and readers

   LJMU has confirmed a number of new professors and readers following a rigorous process.

10. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

    Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.
