Ahead of graduating in July 2025, four final year Law students talk about the opportunities and experiences they have gained whilst at LJMU and how these experiences have helped prepare them for their next steps.
Olivia Coles is a video journalist at the Times and the Sunday Times in London. Olivia graduated from LJMU with a degree in History and English and then went on to do an MA in Broadcast Journalism at City University, London.
Kris Roberts graduated with a degree in Media, Culture, Communication in 2020, then completed an MSc in Digital Marketing. He is now the Head of Digital Marketing and Innovation at the MAPD Group following a role as Associate & Digital Marketing Manager at Jackson Lees Group. When studying at LJMU he told us about how he took matters into his own hands to gain writing experience when he found limited opportunities in the PR/marketing sectors.
Hannah Lacy graduated from LJMU in 2021 with a degree in Wildlife Conservation, followed by an MSc in Wildlife Conservation Technology in 2022, and is now a PhD Researcher in Conservation Biology at the University of Leeds.

She started her online health and wellness coaching business in 2024, supporting women to thrive in all aspects of their life and catering for their physical, mental, emotional, relational, environmental and existential health.
Lauren Griffiths graduated in 2022 with a degree in International Tourism Management and currently works as a Sales and Marketing Executive for We Are Social Nation. In July 2025, along with a business partner, she opened her own business, Opal and Mersey, a content studio based in Liverpool.
Daniel Jolly graduated in 2024 with a degree in Sport Business. He now runs his own business, Dan J Media, a photography and videography business specialising in sports, music and live events after receiving support from the Start-up Hub.
