Eleanor is a pharmacy graduate now working in a community pharmacy in Liverpool. She attributes the ‘nurturing’ approach of her LJMU lecturers as key to shaping her and her colleagues into the professionals they are today. Stafford Beer was a scientist, poet, painter, founder of management cybernetics and world leader in operational research. He was appointed Honorary Professor of Organisational Transformation at Liverpool Polytechnic in 1989, and today the Collection bearing his name is among the most prized of LJMU's archives.

While working as a social media executive and studying at LJMU for her MA in Human Resource Management, Selma became an internet sensation starring alongside LFC manager Jurgen Klopp for the club’s kit launch. As a result, she has helped to raise the profile of fellow young Muslim women from both the Liverpool and football fan communities.
