Cam Barr - Graduate Case Study

In the video, 2024 Business and Marketing graduate Cam Barr talks about the wealth of work experience he gained during his time at LJMU and how it helped him secure a graduate role at Condé Nast.

Cam completed a Discovery Internship at Northern Power Women during his second year, followed by a year-long industrial placement at The Very Group.  He then did a summer internship at Condé Nast in London in between second and third year and secured a role as a Marketing and Content Officer with the Student Futures team, which he did part-time alongside his final year of study.

Cam also offers his advice about managing your final year at University and finding the balance between your studies and applying for graduate roles.  After applying for over 100 graduate jobs, Cam secured a graduate-level job back at Condé Nast, where he did his summer internship, as an Associate Manager in the Email, Newsletter and Audience Development Team.
