You can enjoy a range of different coffee shops at LJMU with varied food and drink concepts to cater for your tastes. All provide the highest quality food, beverages and snacks with excellent healthy options and ethically sourced products.
Our outlets have been designed to provide you with the perfect space for relaxation, socialising, networking, food and refreshments.
Eat at LJMU operates five branded catering outlets, three coffee carts and two Starbucks stores.
The team really value feedback and have changed the offer at some outlets, introduced new value and healthy product lines and developed specialist items in response to student requests. You can give feedback over the counter at any outlet, we are happy to take suggestions and can be flexible to suit any taste.

John Lennon Art and Design building - Cafe
Open: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 7.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm
Located on the lower ground floor of the John Lennon Art and Design Building. Offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis and healthy snacks as well as a variety of hot food included freshly baked savoury pastries, pizza and jacket potatoes.

This popular coffee shop is based on the ground floor offering a large amount of seating and computer access. Offering a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, paninis and healthy snacks as well as a variety of hot food included freshly baked savoury pastries, pizza and jacket potatoes.

Non term time: closed
Set in a relaxed area with soft seating, with an exciting array of new products including ‘Grumpy Mule Coffee’, ‘Fairtrade coffee’, freshly made soup of the day, hot meals including ‘Pasta Noodles Curry’ and freshly baked jacket potatoes. This coffee shop has something for everyone.
