Activities to support your wellbeing

Wellbeing Week provides an opportunity for staff and students to focus on their wellbeing.

The week is packed full of activities – many of which are available all year round – to help support staff and students.

Our focus is on providing information, choices and support which help staff and students to make the right decisions for them and their self-care.

Self-care now, more than ever, is so important. During the pandemic we may have found some useful ways to help us look after our wellbeing and cope with challenges that Covid has created.

Self-care can be anything from taking time out for a five minute walk in the fresh air during the working day, having a tidy room, to cooking your favourite meal, calling people you love or finding some time to read a book, listen to a podcast or do some physical exercise.

During Wellbeing Week we are encouraging staff and students to share their self-care tips and ideas, using #SelfCareShare and #LjmuWellbeing on social media.
