Wellbeing Week

LJMU Wellbeing Week

11-15 March 2019

See the March 2019 programme of activities

Wellbeing Week provides an opportunity for students and staff to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy, from yoga to music, knitting to meditation. There are a wide range of events, talks and informal get-togethers across our campuses designed to introduce different ideas on physical and mental health. It's a chance to spend time with friends and colleagues and to meet new people. Why not take some time out during the week to get involved?

See, Say, Signpost training

If you want to know how to talk to someone who may be feeling suicidal – it could be a friend, family member or stranger – then try this free online 20 minute training: See, Say, Signpost. You will gain understanding in how to see the signs, talk to someone in the right way and understand where to signpost them for help.

During LJMU Wellbeing Week we will have See, Say, Signpost training stations available across the University, see below for details. Headphones are available and the training offers BSL for D/deaf learners. Don’t forget that you can also do the training on your phone, tablet or work computer.
