Bhasha Mukherjee
Mukherjee achieved her dual medical degree from the University of Nottingham in 2019, after migrating from Kolkata, India, aged 9.- She established the ‘Generation Bridge’ Project that provides young people with voluntary work experience in care homes and community settings.
- During the coronavirus pandemic, Mukherjee restarted her work at the Pilgrim Hospital, Lincolnshire, having provided international humanitarian aid as a junior doctor.
- She fluently speaks five languages, Bengali, English, Hindi, French, and German.
