Bhasha Mukherjee

Mukherjee achieved her dual medical degree from the University of Nottingham in 2019, after migrating from Kolkata, India, aged 9.
She established the ‘Generation Bridge’ Project that provides young people with voluntary work experience in care homes and community settings.
During the coronavirus pandemic, Mukherjee restarted her work at the Pilgrim Hospital, Lincolnshire, having provided international humanitarian aid as a junior doctor.
She fluently speaks five languages, Bengali, English, Hindi, French, and German.
