Raksha Dave
Dave graduated with an Archaeology degree from the UCL Institute of Archaeology, London, in 1999.- She has over 15 years of experience in public archaeology during which she worked on excavation sites in the UK, Puerto Rico and the USA.
- With the help of the Museum of London Archaeology Service, Dave also participated in an excavation of the famous Çatalhöyük site in Turkey.
- She has worked as a presenter on many archaeological-based shows such as “Digging for Britain” and “Pompeii: What happened next?”
- In May 2016, Dave published an article with The Guardian newspaper, discussing the lack of diversity within the Archaeological community.
- She is a patron of the young archaeologist club, has sat on the Board of the Council for British Archaeology and has developed many national lottery heritage funded community projects.
