Redevelopment of two City Campus buildings

Work is set to get under way on a project to redevelop two of the university’s buildings in City Campus to create new, high quality staff facilities and office space.

The works will provide a new home for IT Services in Peter Jost Building as part of the university’s plan to move all teams out of leased accommodation in Exchange Station.

The project will also deliver a modern flexible working environment for academic staff in GERI Building.

The revamped buildings will provide brand new working spaces, meeting rooms and staff breakout facilities.

All staff who are impacted by the works and associated relocations are being communicated with directly.

The project is being delivered by Krol Corlett, the contractor which delivered the James Parsons Building improvements over the last two years.

The works are scheduled to be completed by April 2027.
