Rob Molloy

Chief Financial Officer

Rob Molloy is Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, with responsibility for the University’s financial strategy and leadership of the Finance Team.

As a Chartered Management Accountant, Rob has built his career across the private sector and higher and further education. He worked for major blue-chip organisations, including Whitbread, Tate & Lyle and Capita, gaining broad commercial, operational and financial experience.

Rob subsequently moved into education finance, holding senior positions in the further education sector before becoming Deputy Finance Director at the University of Lancashire. He joined LJMU in 2023.
