Creative Writing Alumni Group

Keeping your writing going alongside the many other competing calls on your time – earning, caring, and sharing – is an ongoing challenge. That’s where the LJMU Writing Alumni Group comes in.
Formed six months ago, by Honorary Professor Cathy Cole, and funded, supported, and administered by RILCH. The LJMU Writing Alumni Group is a mix of graduates from the last five years or so, who get together once per month to chivvy, chide, and cheerlead each other to maintain our writing momentum.
Sessions are a mix of guest speakers, writing, and workshopping. Over the last few sessions we have had the wonderful fortune of being joined by, Jenny Newman, John Maguire, Horatio Clare, and James Rice.
The LJMU Writing Alumni Group meet in person every two months, and during the months in between, we meet online.
If you are a recent LJMU Writing graduate and would like to join and/or receive more information about the group, contact Kevin Flinn.
