1. Teaching Insights Seminars 2024/2025

   We are pleased to launch this year’s Teaching Insights Seminar series. These seminars are delivered by LJMU staff and present current issues.

   By studying the gas and stars that shape the Milky Way as well as other galaxies in the local Universe, we can understand the life cycles of stars like our Sun, unravel the chemical enrichment history of the universe, and probe the existence of black holes across a wide mass spectrum.

8. Maritime CPD courses

   LJMU’s Maritime Centre offers a range of courses under the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers.

9. Networking and Mentoring Event: Embracing Gender Equity and Diversity

   We are delighted to announce a special networking and mentoring event focused on strengthening diversity and gender equity in IAHR, as part of River Flow 2024. The event will take place on 3 September 2024 at 5pm, in Room 2.06, Student Life Building.
