1. Resurfacing works affecting Mount Pleasant Campus (17-21 February)

   Please be aware that restrictions are in place over the next week around our Mount Pleasant Campus due to resurfacing works.

2. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

3. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

4. LJMU Libraries, Sport Building and SLB opening times over Easter break

   The Student Life Building will be open 24/7.

5. Reportable Events Policy update

   Amendments are in line with the latest Office for Students (OfS) guidance.

6. Finance policy updates

7. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

8. NSS 2023: LJMU delivering an excellent student experience

   LJMU has performed well in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2023. The Office for Students (OfS) has published the survey results, which paint a positive picture of the LJMU student experience, while helping us to identify some areas for improvement.

9. UKRI open access policy changes from 1 January 2024

   The open access policy applies to monographs, book chapters and edited collections associated with UKRI funding published from 1 January 2024.

10. Your new Academic Staff Governor Caroline Wilkinson

    Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.
