Daniel Jolly graduated in 2024 with a degree in Sport Business. He now runs his own business, Dan J Media, a photography and videography business specialising in sports, music and live events after receiving support from the Start-up Hub.

Mia Parry graduated in 2024 with a degree in Physical Education. She now runs her own business, Girls2Goalz, an elite football academy for girls aged 8-16.
Lauren Griffiths graduated in 2022 with a degree in International Tourism Management and currently works as a Sales and Marketing Executive for We Are Social Nation. In July 2025, along with a business partner, she opened her own business, Opal and Mersey, a content studio based in Liverpool.
Final year Criminology and Sociology student Erin Walsh, who graduates in 2025, tells us about her time at LJMU, the work experience she undertook, including a summer internship as a Human Resources Intern within the Colleague Experience Team at Coventry Building Society, and about the graduate role she has just secured on the NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) as a HR Trainee.
Samantha Elmes graduated with a Degree in History and English and is now working as a diplomat for the Foreign, Development and Commonwealth Office (FCDO).
Kris Roberts graduated with a degree in Media, Culture, Communication in 2020, then completed an MSc in Digital Marketing. He is now the Head of Digital Marketing and Innovation at the MAPD Group following a role as Associate & Digital Marketing Manager at Jackson Lees Group. When studying at LJMU he told us about how he took matters into his own hands to gain writing experience when he found limited opportunities in the PR/marketing sectors.
Tom Toward graduated from LJMU with a degree in History. He then went on to do a Masters in Defence, Diplomacy and Development at Durham University. He secured a place on a 2-year graduate scheme with the Ministry of Defence as a Corporate Service Group (CSG) graduate in Defence, Equipment & Support (DES). The CSG graduate scheme is a two-year development programme focused around corporate services roles across different areas of DES.
Robyn White graduated in 2025 with a degree in International Business Studies and now works as a Sales and Marketing Executive for We Are Social Nation.
Esma Esin Yildirim Eryilmaz graduated in 2024 with an MSc in Cosmetic Science and now runs her own business, Botanifolia, which makes and sells botanical wellbeing products.
