Stacy T Sims
Sims gained a Masters in Exercise Physiology and an Environmental Exercise Physiology PhD from the University of Otago, New Zealand. - An environmental exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist, she specialises in sex differences in physiological adaptation and performance factors.
- Sims has contributed to over 40 research articles, working with athletes on hydration practices, heat adaptation strategies and overall nutrition.
- She says, “Women are not men. Stop eating and training like one. ”
- Sims continues to be a strong advocate for the equality of women in sports research.
