The Doctoral Academy is offering information sessions to provide LJMU students and graduates with the opportunity to learn more about doctoral study. The sessions are also open to external candidates and members of staff.

The sessions will be on campus, lead by Professor Scott Foster and Gillian Dyche.

This session will look at:

  • What a PhD is
  • Why you should study for a PhD
  • The routes into PhD and Doctoral study
  • The structure of a PhD
  • What the entry requirements are
