The School of Nursing and Allied Health has a wide range of courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD level relating to health and social care.
Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.

Our arrangements for environmental management, sustainability and climate change fit within the university's governance structures which have staff and student representation.
In 2020 we declared a climate emergency, and in 2022 published our Climate Action Plan. Actions within this plan were split into five themes: leadership, teaching, research, campus management, and community. The plan was split into three phases up until 2035.
