The Home and Domestic Cultures research cluster provides an interdisciplinary and collaborative space to investigate the multifaceted meaning of home across historical periods and in our contemporary world.
The Centre for Natural Products Discovery is concerned with preventing and curing disease. Find out about investigating natural products and their toxicity, particularly in their ability to cause toxicity to cancer cells in an effort to identify new potential cancer chemotherapeutic leads.
The Sensors and Communications group carry out applied research in collaboration with industries.

Áine won the Individual Teaching Excellence Award at our Teaching Excellence Awards held in our Bicentenary year, recognising how she has provided amazing real-world learning experiences for students across the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, all while being an active supporter of women in STEM.
