An audience of hundreds gave a rapturous response to the first Roscoe Lecture of LJMU's Bicentenary year, delivered by Professor Andy Newsam
The project, which began 14 months ago, saw leaders from across LJMU’s ELT paired with Black and ethnic minority Liverpool city leaders to share their lived experiences and inform policy and decision making at the university and beyond.
The application process for professorship and readerships is now open. The deadline for submission of applications is Monday 19 January 2026 by 11.59pm.
