5. Windows upgrade: action required from all staff

   All staff need to be aware of an important upgrade required on managed laptops and desktops – this is an upgrade to Windows 11 and needs to be in place before the start of the new academic year (31 August 2025).

7. Staff Survey 2025 update: 143 actions across LJMU

   In response to the findings of the 2025 staff survey, the university and service teams have put in place 143 owned actions, over the past twelve months, to improve the local needs and changes colleagues highlighted in their day-to-day work.

8. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.

9. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

10. Framework for Academic Quality and Standards Policy update

    This staff policy has had a minor amendment.
