She was one of the first sport scholars to study with LJMU in the late 2000’s and has been a lecturer with our School of Sports and Exercise Sciences since 2018.
Professor Ian Tracey is one of Britain's best known and respected musicians. He is a Professor, Fellow, and organist at LJMU and has been the organist at Liverpool Cathedral since 1980. He plays the music for our graduation ceremonies and has done so for 51 years.
Lord Alton had a long career in politics as an MP for Liverpool before becoming the founder of our Roscoe Lecture Series - delivering three lectures himself since the series began - and was a Professor of Citizenship at the university for some 20 years.
